Hallelujah, it’s Friday! And, as per usual, Chef Julie Zlogar of Wooden Spoon Cafe (24 South Main St., Phoenixville) is whipping up a top-notch dinner special that’ll have you wishing that every night was a Friday evening.
On the docket for November 18, expect to dive into house-made tartines crafted with Birchrun Hills’ Farm’s Equinox (one of our favorites), Bechemel Sauce, Smoked Ham, and Caramelized Onions.
You’re a vegetarian, you say? The chef has your back, too. The vegetarian version of the tartine will feature Birchrun Hills’ Farm’s Equinox, Bechemel Sauce, and Caramelized Onions.
Also, warm up over spoonfuls of from-scratch Sweet Pea Soup, as garnished with crispy parsnips.
Both the tartines and the piping soup will be available around 6 pm tonight. Feel free to call ahead and reserve your order(s) at 610-917-0101. More information on Wooden Spoon at woodenspooncafe.com.
