There are many perks to being a Chester County dwellers, including the fact that the county has its own artisan cheese alliance, the Chester County Cheese Artisans. While many of the members are well-known and loved in the area-wide community, it’s Birch Run Hills Farm’s raw milk cheeses that everyone stock-piles, including local chefs like Julie Zlogar of The Wooden Spoon.

And, we just caught wind that for tonight only, Chef Julie will be making special soup and sandwich combo for patrons – a Roasted Tomato Soup with a Birchrun Hills Farm Grilled Cheese Sandwich (made on house-made bread). And, trust us, this Friday night special done the “Julie way” will be unlike any grilled cheese and tomato soup meal you’ve had before!
The dinner combo will be available for dine-in or take-out. Find the Wooden Spoon for this must-have Friday special at 24 Main Street in Phoenixville. More information is available at woodenspooncafe.com.
