Just when we feared that our noshes of Friday night would be sad and uninteresting, Chef Julie of Wooden Spoon Cafe swoops in to save our evening.
In honor of the last Friday of September (one finally with crisp fall breezes), Wooden Spoon’s chef is serving up a special rustic chicken pot pie prepped with an undeniably amazing and light pastry crust, as whipped up by Chef/Baker Barbi.
The single serving, buttery-topped pot pies will be perfect to start your night off right, something of substance to dive into just before speeding over to Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant of Phoenixville’s Oktoberfest celebration (which runs until 10 pm). Chef Julie expects the featured entree to sell out, so she suggests calling ahead with your order.
Find the Wooden Spoon at 24 Main Street in Phoenixville or call 610 917-0101.
