Stylish and smart females know where to place their money—in the prettiest of handbags.
But, what ladies really love to do is always add an additional money holder to the mix, which is why Phoenixville Federal Bank & Trust’s upcoming evening event will be ideal for your next girls’ night, held Thursday, September 16 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
The community bank hosts the most original of female get-togethers next month, pairing a Black Walnut Winery wine tasting with tasty tea sandwiches from West Chester’s Arianna’s Gourmet Tea Room at their Conference Center of Nutt Road. All while enjoying the provided free light fare, attendees may design their own custom handbag from West Chester’s Pee Dee Bee Bags.
Although handbags are extra to design, prices range from $8-80, one lucky pair of ladies will each win their own set. Better yet, as guests gush over fabrics, prints, handles and embellishments, Phoenixville Federal will inform new designers about the best ways to adjust their financial futures and offer suggestions on the smartest places to put your stash of cash. Discussions will include:
- why women are better investors
- the myth: “someone will take care of me”
- how to assess risk
- what are basic asset classes
- what is proper asset allocation
- how to use bonds for income
Phoenixville Federal Bank & Trust is committed to educating the communities they serve on pertinent financial issues. Bring your moms, sisters, best friends or come solo to the early evening out, where you will be able to become further educated about your money making decisions through a crafty workshop and snacking session.
