Bucks County Chamber of Commerce has an interesting concept that may fare well here in Chester County. They call it “Brown Bag-It with the Arts” and just as you might assume, community members bring blankets and their brown-bag lunches to enjoy live music in the lawn. Though not a new program (33 years running) the idea has been to bring the community together to celebrate the local arts. Featured in the story are Phoenixville-natives and regulars in Phoenixville’s street music scene folk duo Fiorenza-Dowlin. Speaking of the music duo Fiorenza-Dowlin; Wayne Dowlin has one of the finest voices in the area. A lilting, expressive tenor that is a true listening pleasure.
