The Limerick Post revealed last week that the annual baking contest of the Montgomery County 4-H Fair will be held Friday, Aug. 13, beginning at 6 p.m. at the fairgrounds, located on Bridge Road (Route 113) in Collegeville.
This year’s theme is “Breads of the World,” which is broken down into four homemade categories of yeast breads, quick breads, sweet doughs and bread machine. Participants will be judged according to age, from as young as under eight years of age to those 19-years-old and older.
