  • We were recently married at the Kimberton Inn in front of the main dining room fireplace and 50 close friends and family, had cocktails in the bar and dinner upstairs. This was probably the best dining experience of my life (and we go out a lot.) The service was fantastic and did not go unnoticed with our guests. Jeff, the owner, was meticulous in his preparation of our special evening that day and in the days leading up to our wedding. Although it was a large party, our guests had multiple selections from the appetizer, salad, entree and dessert portions of the menu. And everything was great. We love “the best salad you’ve ever had” and shrimp cocktail. We also ordered Maryland crabcakes as an appetizer. They’re the best! I had the filet mignon which cooked to perfection. The Hazewlnut crusted chicken breast with mushrooms was also a big favorite. Our guests had either the chocolate torte, creme brulee, lemon tart or Hot Fudge Sundae for dessert! The Kimberton is one of the best kept dining secrets in Chester County. They also have an unbelievable wine list. Our first date was there 4 years ago and this restaurant continues to be our favorite for special occasions!
