Majolica’s Jazzed to Announce Another Specialty Dinner

August 31 Posted by Laura Taylor No Comments

The popularity of the last Majolica jazz dinner was so undeniable that we’ve decided to do it again! Erin Dickins, founding member of the Manhattan Transfer will, once again, be vocalizing in the dining room on October 26.

This latest collaboration with the extremely talented jazz singer is in coordination with her latest CD release, Nice Girls, of which critics have said, “Erin’s musical style begins with the masters – Gershwin – Porter – Berlin – with a smattering of sultry ballads and original material reminiscent of the great jazz era.  Her sensitive, lyrical interpretations of standards have enchanted her audiences while providing a fresh approach  to the jazz idiom. The Majolica dinner will celebrate the debut of this new CD!

Perhaps the most compelling aspect of Erin in concert is her unbridled joy – she clearly loves every minute of it and draws her audience into the experience. She will be accompanied by legendary pianist Stefan Scaggiariwhose piano stylings always compliment vocalists so well.

Join us on October 26 for live music with an international flair – a little French, a little latin– and incredibly imaginative cuisine to accompany from Chef Deery! Make your reservations today!
